I've had several people ask me to be their 'instant friend'. How do I ask someone to be my instant friend? The question pops right up where I'm playing. I see how to go into my profile and communicate with a friend, give a gift, etc.. but I don't think that's it. Help!

I usually add a friend from the roster of names of the people present in the room. This is on the left side of the screen AND IT SHARES THE SPACE WITH THE CHAT DIALOG. If I see chat, then I dont see the names. If i click on the top of the chat window at the drop down menu, then the names appear and the chat dialog hides. when I click on any name (except my own) I get dialog menu options which include: make a friend request (or whatever). If they dont want instant friend requests then you can choose PROFILE instead and get a more detailed profile. On THAT screen you can make a friend request that accompanies your LETTER to them to make it a bit more personal. The DRAWBACK to lots of friends is constant notification of their arrival (which blocks action on the screen) and CONSTANT notification of parties that are begging for people which causes a popup dialog that literally demands your interaction before you can continue playing your game. So FYI a lot of people who have been here a while just refuse new friends FOR THAT REASON so dont take it personally. In fact that is why you may be blocked by a person you've never have even met yet... FYI.
