why do I have too pay too go too my own party? I thought the host gets in free?

  The host gets pays like everyone else, except the host gets an extra charm! Entry 1 mushroom =25 mushrooms + 1 extra for the host!!!
  
  Entry 5 mushrooms = 125 mushrooms + 5 extra for the host!!!

  While I do understand, I find it ridiculous that the host has to pay to get into their own party.

  How do you host a charm party?  Does the host pay something?  In the screen regarding charms, there are two buttons, 30,000 coins and 3 gems.  What do they mean?  Is it either or?  Does the host have to be able to cover the 25 gems to be given at the party?  Or is this all free and the only fee the host pays is the entry - same as all the other guests - to their own party?  There should be clear instructions in the party start page.

  So what happens when I don't go to my own party because I can't get in (not enough gems which is not explained anywhere when you set up a party)?

  when someone make a party ( the host ) u chose what charms will be charged as entrence fee by everyone including the host...then u got to choose what do u pay to set up the party , either 30.000 coins or 3 gems .... once the party start the host receive extra charms equal to the entrence fee ... 1 beer u get 1 more free .. .10 beer u get 10 more free as host.

  the reason why host still have to pay to attend their own party is pretty simple .. everyone would make party to get free charms if there was no cost ....thats why they make u pay and u get extra one free instead.

  A friend can't see the party board so never knows when there is a party.  Does anyone know how to fix the problem?

  I agree with tibob as if it was free to host then there would only be hosts having parties as you wouldn't pay for any charms and that is why they are here bottom line and they provide fun while you spend.  It's all good fun.
