Guests and Poker - Who's With Me?

I and so many other people are infuriated with these "Guests" that come to the poker tables and win (seemingly more often than not) our chips and elevate to levels equal to many registered members without purchasing membership or a single gem. Personally, I've heard theories such as "Oh, the site lets them win as an incentive to join." I call bullshit! What incentive is there if I can play as a guest, win more often than members BECAUSE I am a guest, sit at the table and receive charms passed out by paying members and reach levels numbering in the 40s without ever sending the site a penny?

You want to know what incentive will work to get guests to sign up and pay up? Limit their "guest" status to one week. Either register your name or lose everything - coins, charms, level, clothing. Another incentive would be to limit their poker playing to themselves, allowing guests to play only with other guests, thereby NOT taking coins from members who have PAID for theirs. The site claims that purchasing gems and memberships will help you to win more coins, so we do. We pay cash money for gems and memberships and use our gems to purchase charms that the site tells us will increase (uh huh) our winnings in the games. Then we're practically forced to play poker with non-paying guests who seem to win more than we do, taking our coins/gems/cash. How much freaking sense does that make?

Either limit their status to one week tops or allow them to play only with other guests. Stop screwing your paid members now!

  It's our position that guests are full citizens of Zone Casino the same as any other player. They are most often new players though I have seen many paying customers play as guests for years. (I do not recommend this.) I'm very sorry if a guest or perhaps most guests bother anyone, I know that can happen. I'm closing this thread but I will see if there's anything we can do to help players who don't want to deal with new players in poker and perhaps elsewhere an option beyond private tables and blocking.

  Sue: Thanks for your input, albeit designed, as is your Modus Operandi, to                harass and harangue rather than be constructive. 

  Eddie: You are right. In fact we were all guests in the beginning. However, all it             takes is a free email address to register here and become a member.               I'm merely suggesting that guest accounts be limited to a week, maybe             even two weeks, to encourage them to register.

  SeattleSue: My question was how many strikes WOULD you have if the Zone did indeed monitor such activity. We all, of course, have ZERO because they don't. As for the designation of this page, any sober person can see that it is mostly a forum for players to discuss the original topic of the thread in which they're posting comments. I guess that puts you at a distinct disadvantage (hic). My thread is about guests playing poker with a few suggestions that should encourage these folks to register a name (entirely free I might add) and subsequently purchase gems and/or memberships. You added your two cents about the subject but not without attacking my character and making this whole thing personal, which was uncalled for and entirely unnecessary. You did mention the fact that we don't know if these people buy gems or not, with which I totally agree, but what I do know is that in the fourteen months I've been on this site I've neither seen nor even heard of a guest buying charms for the poker table or any of the other game rooms. What you failed to mention, however, is that you were one of the first people I saw at poker complaining about guests winning so much and taking members coins. In fact, in the above post, you even said I was the "ONLY" person you'd ever heard complain about guests. Hmmmmm. A little back-pedaling just for the sake of furthering your cause which, in this case, was to argue with someone you don't like because they had the nerve, the sheer audacity to unfriend you because you're nothing but a meddlesome busy-body. You're something else, Sue.

  As for this "campaign" you mentioned, I was not associated whatsoever with any such thing. I rallied to help some friends of mine deal with a problem they all seemed to be having with the same individuals. I was on my own and recruited no help from anyone. If others jumped on the bandwagon, it wasn't at my invitation or even encouragement. I posted no one's name in public but rather solicited a zone mail with a list. At the request of someone I considered a trusted friend at that time, I added the name of this long-term member you mentioned. But within days of receiving mail from several ladies suggesting I was wrong to add him, I stopped sending the list out completely. I posted a party the next day, mentioning no names or even alluding to any one person, for the sole purpose of having a pow-wow to discuss the issue of harassment. At that point, during this meeting, I suggested things that could and should be done to handle these perps. After that, I retired from the "help" business. Your album or Dave's are of no interest to me but I assume there are pics there that you feel help your otherwise lame case. "

  You sullied this page with your first comment. Who are you to judge whether my post was inaccurate or not? Anything to contradict those you dislike. Will you respond, even though you said you wouldn't? I say you will because Sue has to have the last word.

  A big P.S.

  The trusted friend I mentioned above who convinced me to add this man's name to my list of perpetrators? Well, I recently discovered that they are a phony and a liar, not only lying to me but to the entire site it seems. Since then, I've felt obligated to apologize to this man but have been unable to do so privately because he has me blocked. So at this point I will just say here, "dude, you have my sincerest apology" and extend my hand in friendship.

  Well, once again Colby you are  off base. Number #1. You are whining about people in poker? Rarely are big gems gifted at the poker table. Rarely. Mostly consisting of Beer, Martini and occasionally from the likes of Miami, a large charm.  Number #2 As a member of this site and constant poker player, you are the ONLY one I have EVER heard complain about guests. If you don't want to play with general guests and it bothers you so much, create your own private room for poker and invite only registered guests, of which the zone provides you that option. YOU have NO knowledge of what these "guests" buy or not buy. That makes zero sense. Furthermore, I didn't sign up for membership for over 3 months, as I had no idea what this site was about.  Contrary to your general attitude, you are not elite or entitled to anything other than making the decision to become a registered member as a vip or elite.  Many guests can not afford to sign up for ongoing membership, yet contribute to the overall experience of the zone. And finally Number #3  if you are not getting the cards in poker, or having a consistent losing streak, no one is forcing you to continue to play. There is a big X at the top of the screen that is always there for you.

  What I would like to see is the zone, monitor people such as yourself that  post unsubstantiated rumors about members and contribute to the negative culture here and ban them. Such as a 3 strikes you're out.

  Thank you colby, for your input. To answer your question, I of course have had zero. Please read mine and Dave's album for enlightenment. It seems you have a very short memory, you were part of a very disturbing campaign against one of our long term members that was unfounded and completely off base as well as other incidents. The zone isn't interested in the predatory men that consistently take advantage of the kind nature of women here ................or personal disputes. Nor am I interested in carrying on a public dispute on the help page. This page isn't designed for that. I countered your inaccurate post and will not sully up this page responding to any more rhetoric.
